Dom na Kofcah 1488m 🌿 Slovenia

Our recent hike to Dom na Kofcah was filled with beautiful landscapes, a bit of a challenge, and delicious rewards at the end. 

Starting Point: Matizovec ( Parking costs 4 euro per day)

Elevation: 573 m

Difficulty: Easy

We set off from Matizovec on a warm day, slightly later than planned. The late start meant that we had to contend with the heat, which added an extra layer of difficulty to our hike. Nevertheless, the trail itself was manageable for the most part, winding through picturesque scenery that kept our spirits high.

While most of the trail was not too hard, there was one section that proved to be quite challenging. It was steep and rocky. But take into account that we are beginners and just started to build strength.

No visit to Dom na Kofcah is complete without trying their famous štruklji, a traditional Slovene dessert. The combination of stunning views and delectable food made the effort to reach the top well worth it.
