Senica Viewpoint 🌿 Slovenia

Last weekend, we went on a beautiful hike to Senica Viewpoint, a hidden gem with one of the best views of the Soča River. We started in Most na Soči, where we parked at Cafe Morea, a great spot to begin the trail.

- Starting Point: Most na Soči (Parking at Cafe Morea)
- Elevation: 400 m
- Difficulty: Easy
From here, there are two ways up to Senica. The first trail is marked early on, but it’s very steep and tough. Instead, we took the easier route, which starts about 300 meters past the first Senica sign in Modrej village. This path was much more manageable and made for a pleasant hike.
The trail winds through the forest and closet to the top opens up in places with lovely views along the way. When we finally reached Senica Viewpoint, the view completely blew us away. The turquoise Soča River winding through the valley, surrounded by hills and mountains, was absolutely stunning.

If you’re looking for a great hike with an incredible view, Senica Viewpoint is definitely worth it. Whether you take the steep route or the easier one, the reward at the top is amazing. Don’t forget your camera—you’ll want to capture this one!
