Okno and Sinji Vrh 1002m 🌿

After recovering from being sick, we were looking for a gentle hike to ease back into nature – something not too long, not too steep, but full of beauty. Sinji Vrh was the perfect choice.

Starting Point: Parking near the cemetery in Otlica
Elevation: Around 230 meters
Difficulty: Easy
The trail starts just outside Otlica and gradually leads you across open meadows and scenic slopes. Part of the route takes you along the edge of cliffs, heading southeast with incredible panoramic views that open up more and more as you climb. It’s peaceful, quiet, and uplifting.
One special stop on the start of way is Okno, a natural window in the rock – unique and definitely worth to see.

At the top of Sinji Vrh, we were rewarded with the delicious lunch at family-run restaurant. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace while taking in the views, and it really made the experience complete.

We decided to return the same way we came – it’s actually more scenic than doing a loop, and you get to take in the views from a fresh perspective going back down.

If you’re easing into hiking or just in the mood for a calming walk with rewarding views and great food, Sinji Vrh won’t disappoint.
