Strunjan Landscape Park 🌿 Slovenia

We were looking for a chill hike in nature that felt more like a relaxed walk than a real hike and the Krožna pot in Strunjan Nature Park was exactly that. It’s a circular trail of about 5 km with minimal elevation gain, easy and pleasant the whole way.

We started near Hotel Krka and followed the path through the park with constant views of the sea, cliffs, and surrounding landscape. The only slightly more demanding part was the descent to Moon Bay beach, where you go down a set of steps for about 10 minutes. We spent some time on the beach looking for fossils among the large pebbles before heading back up.

Apart from that short up-and-down section, the trail is very gentle and perfect for an easy day outdoors. The weather was beautiful, the views were amazing, and the whole walk felt calm and unhurried. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed nature escape by the sea.
