Slivnica 1114 m 🌿 Slovenia

Slivnica is one of the easier winter hikes in Slovenia that still rewards you with truly beautiful views at the top.

Starting Point: Grahovo
Elevation: Around 500 meters
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

We made a circular route starting from Grahovo. Went up on a steeper path, most of it leads through forest and on the way down went via road. On the way we saw many wolf tracks. Slovenia’s nature still feels wonderfully wild.

At 1114 meters Slivnica isn’t a high alpine peak. But when you step out of the forest near the summit, the landscape opens up beautifully. On a clear winter day, you get wide views over the Cerknica region and rolling hills covered in snow. Peaceful. Clean. Quiet.
