Ratitovec 1678m  🌿 Slovenia

This mountain is special for me – was my first solo snow hike. I’ve hiked it in both spring and summer – each season has its own charm!

Starting Point: Prtovč (parking near the church)
Elevation Gain: 690m
Difficulty: Easy

From Prtovč, you have two trails. First time, in spring, I took the right trail up, but it was snowy and not the best choice. On the way down, I switched to the left trail, and wow—the views were even more breathtaking! If you’re starting from Prtovč, I highly recommend taking the left trail up for the best experience.

At the top, Krekova koča serves delicious food and to me it’s the most beautiful spot to enjoy a meal with a view.
